Dutch Victim Kenya Heavily Pregnant

The Dutch victim of the Westgate Siege, was a woman of 33 years old, was heavily pregnant and her name was Elif Yafuz. On Saturday during the raid of the muslim terror organisation Al Shabab, Elif Yafuz was killed together with her partner Ross Langdon, an Australian/British citizen. Ms. Yavuz grew up in Reusel, a village near Eindhoven, and attended high school in Bladel at the Pius-X college. After high school she studied political science at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Her professor Marcel Wissenburg says that Elif was one of his best students ever. The talented young woman left, after graduating in Nijmegen, for Harvard University in the US. Elif earned her doctorate public health at Harvard University. She worked for the World Bank and recently started working on a malaria program, together with her Australian partner, for the foundation of Bill and Melinda Gates. Not long ago she met Bill Clinton. In a statement of Bill, Hillary and their daughter Chelsea they say that, “Elif dedicated her life to helping others. We were delighted to welcome her as a member of our research in Tanzania. She was brilliant, dedicated and highly appreciated by her colleagues.” Recently the heavily pregnant Elif Yafuz met Bill Clinton - Facebook of Sinan Yafuz Reaction Family Her brother, Sinan Yafuz, says on Facebook, “Yesterday, september 22, I heard the terrible news that my sister and her unborn child, which would have been born within two to three weeks, have been killed at a terror attack in Nairobi.” The brother was supposed to travel to Africa to be there while the sister was giving birth. Now he has to go to Africa to identify his sister and her partner. The father of Elif is not alive anymore, but was a well-known man in the Turkish community in Eindhoven. CDA member of the council, Ibrahim Wijbenga, says that everybody is shocked about the death of Elif. “Only six years ago we buried her father at the graveyard in Eindhoven and I remember that Elif was there too.” Aftermath Westgate Siege The government in Kenya thinks that they have freed all the hostages after the actions on Monday. Three terrorists were killed and several wounded. They arrested ten terrorists but some are still hiding in the mall. According to a spokesman, it is impossible for the terrorists who are still on the run to escape from Westgate mall. The official number of dead victims is set at 62. Among the terrorists is a surprisingly high number of foreigners: a few Americans, a Canadian, a Fin and a Britton. In the last years the terrorist organization Al Shabab has actively recruited people abroad. There were also Somalians and Kenyans among the captured and killed muslim terrorists.
