Dutchman released after two months Vietnamese prison
The Dutch student Tim Valk is back home. The 20-year-old man spent two months in prison in Vietnam after being accused of causing a fatal accident with a rented motor scooter.Family and friends picked up the Brabant student from Schiphol airport Saturday. They are all very happy he's home. Given the circumstances he's doing well, reported his uncle Geert Wijtvliet.

He is accused of causing a fatal accident while driving without a license. The accident happened on the tropical island of Phu Quoc on the southwest coast of Vietnam. The young student was grazed by a ghost rider, after which he lost control and drove into a group of pedestrians. A 51-year-old pedestrian died two days after the collision.
