Windmills stop two minutes for deceased mechanics

The windmills of wind farms in Rijnwoude and Zoeterwoude will stop for two minutes Tuesday at 12.00 in memory of two mechanics who were killed last week. The tragic accident took place in Ooltgensplaat on Goeree-Overflakkee. There are four windmills at Rijnwoude and two windmills in the Papemeer park in Zoeterwoude. The wind farm next to the A12 near Waddinxveen is still being discussed. Two technicians died in a fire in a windmill in Zuid-Hollandse Ooltgensplaat on October 29. Two other mechanics survived the incident.
