Russia rejects Dutch chicken shipment

Russia has rejected two consignments of frozen chicken meat and minced meat with a total weight of 40 tonnes from the Netherlands. Due to safety concerns, Russia has imposed a partial ban on dairy imports from the Netherlands. The ban became effective from December 19. The ban applies to 13 Dutch dairy companies, especially the larger producers of cheese, such as FrieslandCampina, Leerdammer, and DOC Kaas.
