Dutch TV launches Utopia reality show

Dutch media tycoon John De Mol, creator of Big Brothe, has launched a new reality show Utopia in the Netherlands, news agency AFP reported. The show, which was described as a social experiment, has 15 participants who are living on a piece of land near Laren and they will build a new society. The group includes seven women and eight men. The participants are given a shed, two cows, chickens, water and electricity, telephone and €10,000. Also, they have land to cultivate. Nearly 100 cameras will be used to record their every move. The show airs five days a week on SBS6.
