Police shut down Utopia
The Dutch polices shut down an online marketplace, Utopia, where illegal goods, such as drug, were sold. The site was only accessible through the TOR network, a network that facilitates anonymous surfing.
Utopia was launched last week, but police did not waste any time in shutting it down. The Prosecution confirms the police actions, but will only reveal later this week how it was done. In the past police also shut down other TOR networks that were used for distributing child pornography.
The forum of the website is still up, but only accessible to members. It's not clear if new registrations are processed.
