Puzzling video of Joran van der Sloot appears on Youtube

Notorious Dutch murder convict Joran van der Sloot has appeared in a Youtube video that was shot within the Piedras Gordas prison in Peru that has been home for the past couple of years. In the video Van der Sloot speaks in Dutch of a paranormal experience that has left him euphoric. He says Dutch medium Robbert van der Broeke appeared in his cell. “All of a sudden I noticed him standing in my room and he told me not to be afraid,” Van der Sloot said. He said Van der Broeke gave him a flash back of his life. “I saw some things that were bad and some things that were good. It was like I was a different person then. It felt liberating, like I could understand everything all of a sudden,” he said. The murder convict said that life was all about the connection all have with each other. He said the experience left him emotional. “It left me with an intense sense of love,” he said. The Youtube film was reported on by Peruan TV station América Televisión that said there was no doubt about its authenticity. Máximo Altez, Van der Sloot’s lawyer said he had no idea how his client managed to shoot the footage. Van der Sloot is serving a 28 year sentence in Peru for the murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramírez. Earlier, Van der Sloot had been implicated in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway, who vanished in Aruba on May 30, 2005, exactly 5 years before the death of Tatiana Flores Ramírez. Both cases both attracted widespread media attention.
