Two dead in head-on collision, Lemmer

A head-on crash in Lemmer (Friesland) has left two people dead on Sunday afternoon. The drivers of two cars, a 69-year old man and a 19-year old woman, both from De Friese Meren, were the victims. Two other people were injured. One of the cars flipped over due to the crash, and landed in a ditch. The drivers both died at the scene. Their passengers, a young man who was sitting next to the 19-year old woman, and the wife of the 69-year old man, were injured. The collision happened on the N359, on the Plattedijk.
