D66 to take Amsterdam council: poll

Dutch pollster Maurice de Hond is predicting the D66 to be the biggest party in Amsterdam for municipal council elections on Wednesday. In the last poll from the municipal research bureau, D66 and the PvdA were neck and neck. Now, Maurice de Hond is pointing to D66 as the winner of the elections. De Hond thinks that the D66 is now in with 12 seats. PvdA is going to end up with their worst ever result, taking just 10 seats. D66 has been campaigning for sexual diversity awareness in schools, and took to popular LGBT dating app Grindr to curry LGBT-voter favor. Research has also discovered that many immigrants are leaving the PvdA for D66.
