Obama picks Noordwijk hotel Huis ter Duin for NSS stay
President Obama will be staying at the Huis ter Duin hotel in Noordwijk for his participation in the Nuclear Summit in The Hague, on March 24 and 25. It is not known yet when he will arrive.
Huis ter Duin will be heavily secured and the government emergency ordinance will apply to a larger area than at other hotels in the region, as evidenced from a presentation the City of Noordwijk gave its citizens. A large part of the nearby beach will also be inaccessible to the public. The 'Hotels van Oranje' and the 'Haagse Kurhaus' where other Nuclear Summit attendants will stay, have a smaller security zone. The President will also visit Amsterdam during his stay.
