Fake postman robs money courier

Police are on the trail of two men who robbed a money transport in Utrecht on Wednesday; one of them was dressed like a postman.

The robbery was committed at Hoog Catharijne around 10.00a.

Police described the robbers as a "tall lightskinned man who had on jeans, blue jacket with hoody, brown shoes with white soles and a cap" and a "stout white male with dark blond hair, wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a Post NL jacket and a blue cap." The white man also had a blue shoulderbag.

The criminals threatened the courier with guns and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Police combed the area after the robbery, but found nothing.
