Police seize 455 kilos of heroin
A total of 455 kilograms of heroin was found during a search of two houses and a car in Rotterdam on Wednesday. Two men have been arrested.
The police searched two houses on Wednesday after these addresses came up in an investigation. 270 kilograms of heroin was found in the first house. In the second house 125 kilograms of heroin was found. 60 kilograms were found in the car of one of the suspects.
Two Rotterdam men, aged 36 and 42 years old, were arrested. The drugs that were seized and destroyed had an estimated street value of 8 million euro.
In addition to the drugs, the police also found two firearms in one of the houses. Three cars were seized for further investigation and for the confiscation of criminal assets.
The two suspects appeared before the magistrate on Friday.
